"In the Electric Mist" is an upcoming drama/fantasy film based on the novel "In the Electric Mist with Confederate Dead" by James Lee Burke. It is directed by Bertrand Tavernier, written Jerzy Kromolowski & Mary Olson-Kromolowski, and stars Tommy Lee Jones in the lead role of Dave Robicheaux. Plot

Set in New Iberia and New Orleans, the film follows a detective on the hunt for a serial killer who preys on young women, a glamorous Hollywood star and a local crime kingpin who are all involved in a bloody murder mystery.
