The Fistula Foundation is dedicated to the prevention and treatment of
obstetric fistula through support of the Hamlin Fistula Hospitals in Ethiopia. The Foundation is currently the largest private organization dedicated to supportingCatherine Hamlin 's work. Her biography chronicles the development of the Addis Abbaba hospital and of the foundation. Since its inception it has raised over $10 million. The funds raised by the Foundation support the work of the Hamlin Fistula Hospitals.
