Dr. Laleh Khalili is an
Iranian American and a lecturer in Middle East Politics at theSchool of Oriental and African Studies at theUniversity of London . She received her PhD fromColumbia University . Her main research areas are policing and incarceration, gender, nationalism, political and social movements, refugees and diasporas in the Middle East.
