Vishwas Patil is a prominent Marathi language author.

Life

He born on November 28, 1959 at Nerle in Sangli district in a farmer family. He is MA in English Literature and graduate in Law. He is IAS by profession in Maharashtra.

Awards

He was awarded by sahitya Akademi Award for his novel Zadazadti.
Mahanayak got best novel award of Maharashtra government.
