Bachar ladder

The Bachar ladder is a piece of training equipment used by the rock climbing community to improve campusing strength and overall upper body strength. It was invented by John Bachar to improve his physical fitness. Most incarnations of the Bachar ladder are made by stringing pvc pipes along webbing, looking similar to a ladder, hence the name. The Bachar ladder is usually hung at angle around 20 degrees to avoid interference by the legs. The climber ascends the ladder using only their arms, similar to how a campus board is used. One of the big differences between the campus board and the Bachar ladder is that the Bachar ladder swings slightly and the climber must use much more body tension in order to maintain control.
