United States Census Bureau , is an area consisting of two counties in the Northern Panhandle ofWest Virginia and one inOhio , anchored by the cities ofWeirton, West Virginia andSteubenville, Ohio . As of the 2000 census, the MSA had a population of 132,008 (though a July 1, 2007 estimate placed the population at 122,580).
