Richard M. Powell

Richard M. Powell (December 15 1916October 20 1996) was an American screenwriter.

Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, he wrote scripts for a number of episodes of popular television series as well as for feature length films.

His credits included "Quincy," "The Mary Tyler Moore Show", "M*A*S*H", "Charlie's Angels", and "The Andy Griffith Show."

Richard M. Powell died of prostate cancer in Los Angeles, California, aged 79.

Note: IMDb mistakenly credits him with certain novels written by Richard P. Powell.
