Johnny Boychuk (born January 19, 1984) is a professional ice hockey defenceman currently playing for the Providence Bruins of the AHL. Boychuk was drafted 61st overall in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft by the Colorado Avalanche.

On June 24, 2008, Boychuk was traded to the Boston Bruins in exchange for Matt Hendricks.

Besides his love of hockey, Boychuk is also a huge heavy metal fan. He has cited that some of his favorite bands include Iron Maiden and Nightwish.
