Robert R. Everett is a computer scientist. He is an honorary board member of Mitre Corporation. [ [http://www.mitre.org/about/bot/everett.html MITRE Biography] ]
In 1945 he worked with Jay Forrester on the Whirlwind project, one of the first real time electronic computers. [ [http://libraries.mit.edu/archives/mithistory/histories-offices/servo.html MIT Archives] ] In 1958 he joined the newly-founded MITRE Corporation, and was its president from 1969 to 1986.
