Hepatoprotection

Hepatoprotection

Hepatoprotection or antihepatotoxicity is the ability to prevent damage to the liver.

An example of a hepatoprotective medicine is silibinin, derived from Milk Thistle, which selectively inhibits leukotriene formation by Kupffer cells.
