Kompally is one of the fastest growing suburbs of Hyderabad, India. Before the residential boom, it was a village outside Hyderabad with many grape gardens and farm houses.

It is one of the fastest growing suburbs in Hyderabad with landmarks like Runway - 9, Satyam Computers, Apparel Export Park, Sherwood Public School and Dhola-ri-Dhani operating in full swing.It comes under HUDA(Hyderabad Urban Development Area).

The land value here is quite high. One of the multiplexes of Hyderabad, Cine Planet is situated here.

The famous Basar - Saraswathi temple is a 4 1/2 hour drive from here.

This place is agog with a lot of construction activity by some very reputed builders adding to the already heated property prices of Hyderabad. The place has its advantages like breathing space, shopping and entertainment arcades which provides the much needed relief for the locals in and around Kompally for bypassing the traffic congestion of the HITECH City. Also, Kompally is close to Hitech city through an alternative route and would come around 18 km. Hence, many people working in IT fraternity are choosing to stay at Kompally

Transport

APSRTC runs buses to connect to various parts of Hyderabad and Secunderabad. There are lot of Auto Rickshaws plying, is another cheaper option.

The closest MMTS Train station is at Bollarum.

Kompally is located on NH-7 which connects Nagpur and Secunderabad. The Highway is well equipped with Street Lighting facility along with greenery looked after by HUDA. There are 4 tracks for the Highway to facilitate Cars, Cycles and Bikes on a separate road.
