Malla Reddy Engineering College (MREC) is the parent college of the Malla Reddy Group of Institutions, Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, India. The institute was established in 2002, is approved by the AICTE New Delhi, and is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (J.N.T.U.), Hyderabad. In 2008 the college was accredited by NBA. It is the only college to be certified by NAAC as an A grade institution in the Hyderabad region. The college was recently granted Permanent Affiliation and an Autonomous status by J.N.T.U.

MREC is one of the few colleges in Andhra Pradesh offering Bio-Technology at the undergraduate level.

IEEE-MREC student branch

The IEEE-MREC student branch was established in 2007. It has Dr. Nukala Srinivas Rao, the founder of the MREC-IEEE student branch, on the chair.

MREC-ISTE Students' Chapter

MREC is associated with the Indian Society for Technical Education. It hosts an active ISTE Students' Chapter. The student chapter has been awarded the best in Andhra Pradesh on more than one occasion.
