Patricia McBride

Patricia McBride is a ballerina who spent nearly 30 years dancing with the New York City Ballet. McBride was honored by a special performance of the City Ballet on June 4, 1989 at the New York State Theater in new York City's Lincoln Center in honor of her retirement.Dunning, Jennifer. The ballet "Tarantella" was created in 1964 by George Balanchine for McBride and Edward Villella, premiering on January 7, 1964, at the City Center of Music and Drama. McBride is a native of Teaneck, New Jersey.
