Story

In Mystery in London: On the Trail of Jack the Ripper, you find yourself in London taking on the role of a collector of old books, photographs, and paintings. During your time in London, you find a copy of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. There lies a note signed "JR." that begins your quest to identify Jack the Ripper. The rest of the game revolves around you traveling throughout London searching for clues to put an end to this unsolved mystery.

Gameplay

Mystery in London: On the Trail of Jack the Ripper features hidden object game play similar to other Big Fish Games releases such as Mystery Case Files and Hidden Expedition. In this type of game play, a player must locate a list of objects which are hidden among many other objects on the computer screen. Once a player has located all the listed hidden objects, they progress on to the next area of game play. In case a player is unable to find a required object, many hidden object games offer a finite number of hints.

Mystery in London: On the Trail of Jack the Ripper also features other puzzles such as word searches, Reversi (a classic English board game) and jigsaw puzzles.

Mystery in London: On the Trail of Jack the Ripper features over 19 chapters each with its own puzzles and characters.
