League of Technical Voters

The League of Technical Voters (LOTV) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose primary goal is to involve more technical people in the political process.

LOTV is a United States organization. LOTV obtained their 501(c)(3) status [ [http://leagueoftechvoters.org/501c3 501c3 status | League of Technical Voters ] ] in October 2007. LOTV has sponsored numerous projects such as codeathons [ [http://lotv-lockin.pbwiki.com/ lotv-lockin wiki - planning for the lockin event 100 ] ] [ [http://codeathon.pbwiki.com/ Designathon/Codeathon 2.0 wiki ] ] with flagship sponsorship from the Mozilla Foundation, the Transparent Federal Budget project [ [http://www.transparentfederalbudget.com/ Welcome! ] ] , and We Are All Actors 2007 workshop [ [http://www.transparentfederalbudget.com/ Welcome! ] ] . The head office for LOTV is in Austin, TX.

LOTV's advisory board consists of Jason Asbahr, Tantek Çelik, Donna Kidwell, Chris Messina, Don Shafer, Jimmy Donal "Jimbo" Wales.
