- Shark Peak
Shark Peak (coord|68|3|S|62|41|E|) is an isolated
nunatak 3.5mile s (6 km) south-southwest ofVan Hulssen Nunatak in theFramnes Mountains ofMac Robertson Land . Mapped by Norwegian cartographers from air photos taken by theLars Christensen Expedition , 1936-37, and named Hanuten (the shark peak). The translated form of the name recommended byAntarctic Names Committee of Australia (ANCA) has been adopted.
