Kyung-Chik Han (
December 29 ,1902 -April 19 ,2000 ) was a Koreanpastor andchurch planter and therecipient of the 1992Templeton Prize for Progress in Religion. S. 1925), theCollege of Emporia (B. A. 1926), andPrinceton Theological Seminary (B. D. 1929). Ordained in 1933 by thePresbyterian Church of Korea , Han later foundedYoung Nak Presbyterian Church in 1945, which he pastored until 1973 and served as a PastorEmeritus until his passing. At the time that he received theTempleton Prize , membership ofYoung Nak Presbyterian Church had grown to 60,000 and the church had fostered about 500 sister churches worldwide.
