History

Raleigh is situated in what was originally Morton County but today is Grant County. Raleigh was created as a coaling stop for the Milwaukee Road and stores originally in Dogtooth, North Dakota were moved there leading to Dogtooth's eventual demise.Source needed|date=February 2008
