Communist Party of Ecuador - Red Sun

The Communist Party of Ecuador - Red Sun (Spanish: "Partido Comunista de Ecuador - Sol Rojo" or PCE-SR), also known as "Puka Inti" (Quechua for "Red Sun") is a small Maoist guerrilla organization in Ecuador. The group is largely constituted by former members of ¡Alfaro Vive, Carajo!‎. The organization considers itself to be ideologically close to the Shining Path of Peru.
