Viera Schottertova

Viera Schottertova (born May 10, 1982 in Topoľčany) is a Slovakian model. At the age of 14 Schottertova signed with Elite after conquering the hearts of the judges during the Elite Model Look contest.

Her modeling career quickly took off, sending her to Vienna and all over Europe for editorial work (Vogue, Elle, etc...) and became the face of worldwide brands such as, Armani, Chanel, Rimmel, Mango, and Custo Barcelona among others. She was also a spokesperson for Panthene for 3 years.

Viera is currently the face of more than 10 brands worldwide from countries including the United States, Russia, Brazil, Guatemela, Italy, France, Mexico, Israel, Spain, Turkey, South Korea, Germany, Sweden, Japan, and Switzerland.

She is currently based in New York where she lives with her husband,Soul [http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Soul_doumouya|//fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Soul_doumouya] , a professional basketball player.

Discovery

At age 13, Viera stumbled upon a flyer announcing an open casting call for Elite models Agency. After getting permission from her mother, she began her modeling career.In 1997, she was a finalist in elite model Look Contest and signed a $200,000 contract with elite Models. Her first job was a TV spot for Pantene which aired for more than 2 years all over the world. Her beauty got noticed by major photographers, fashion magazines and famous designers, as her career quickly took off.
