Ahmad Hassan Polytechnic Institute is located in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. It was stablished after the name of Late Syed Ahmad Hassan Naqvi who founded the first Muslim Technical Institution in South Asiain 1918 [School For Electricians] .
Since 1918, School for Electricians and now A.H.Polytechnic since 1980 has been educating men and women to be leaders in the application of science and technology.
School for Electricians was established by Late Syed Ahmad Hassan Naqvi, This was the first Muslim Technical Institution in the Sub-Continent. It was his vision and support that enabledMajid H.Naqvi to establish the Ahmad Hassan Poytechnic "for the purpose of instructing persons, who may choose to apply themselves, in the application of science to the common purposes of life." His mission still guides AHP today.
