PRC1

Protein regulator of cytokinesis 1, also known as PRC1, is a human gene.cite web | title = Entrez Gene: PRC1 protein regulator of cytokinesis 1| url = http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/sites/entrez?Db=gene&Cmd=ShowDetailView&TermToSearch=9055| accessdate = ]

PBB_Summary
section_title =
summary_text = This gene encodes a protein that is involved in cytokinesis. The encoded protein is at high level during S and G2/M and drop dramatically after cell exit mitosis and enter G1. It is located in the nucleus during interphase, and becomes associated with mitotic spindles in a highly dynamic manner during mitosis, and localizes to the cell mid-body during cytokinesis. This protein has been shown to be a substrate of several cyclin-dependent kinases (CDKs). At least three alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been observed.cite web | title = Entrez Gene: PRC1 protein regulator of cytokinesis 1| url = http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/sites/entrez?Db=gene&Cmd=ShowDetailView&TermToSearch=9055| accessdate = ]
