Margaret Cooper

Margaret Joyce Cooper (later "Badcock") (April 18, 1909 – July 22, 2002) was a British swimmer who competed in the 1928 Summer Olympics and 1932 Summer Olympics.

In the 1928 Olympics she won the silver medal in the 4×100 m freestyle relay event and bronze medals in the 100 m freestyle event and 100 m backstroke event.

Four years later she won a bronze medal in the 4×100 m freestyle relay event and was fourth in the 400 m freestyle event and sixth in the 100 m backstroke event. She also was fourth in her semifinal of 100 m freestyle and did not advance.

She was born in Ceylon. She was married with British rower John Badcock.
