Luftflotte 2 [For an explanation of the meaning of Luftwaffe unit designation see Luftwaffe Organisation] (Air Fleet 2) was one of the primary divisions of the German Luftwaffe in World War II. It was formed February 1 1939 in Braunschweig and transferred to Italy on November 15 1941. The Luftflotte was disbanded on September 27, 1944.
