Harold Edward Annison (January–March 1896 [England & Wales, FreeBMD Birth Index: Harold Edward Annison; Jan-Feb-Mar quarter 1896; District: Croydon; Volume: 2a; Page: 228.] –
27 November 1957 ) was an English swimmer and water polo player who was born inCroydon . He competed in the1920 Summer Olympics and1924 Summer Olympics .In the 1920 Olympics he won a bronze medal in the 4×200 m freestyle relay event and was fourth in his first heat of 100 m freestyle event, fifth in the semifinal of 400 m freestyle event and third in the semifinal of 1500 m freestyle event and did not advance in all occasions.
Four years later in
Paris he was eight in the 400 m freestyle event, ninth in the 1500 m freestyle event and fifth in the 4×200 m freestyle relay event. He was also a member of British water polo team, which lost to Hungary in the first round and did not advance.References
