Aonami Line (あおなみ線) is a railway line in the city of
Nagoya connectingNagoya Station andKinjō-Futō Station . "Aonami Line" is the official nickname of the Nihongo|Nishi-Nagoyakō Line|西名古屋港線|Nishi-Nagoyakō-sen|West Nagoya Port Line operated by the Nihongo|Nagoya Seaside Rapid Railway |名古屋臨海高速鉄道|Nagoya Rinkai Kōsoku Tetsudō. It was a freight branch line ofTōkaidō Main Line , converted to a passenger line onOctober 6 2004 .This line is still operated as a freight line by
Japan Freight Railway Company between Nagoya andNagoya Freight Terminal , therefore, the section between Nagoya andArako Station is used for both passenger and feight traffic.Every station of Aonami Line has its symbol number.
