Living computers theory

Living computers theory

Living computers theory is a fledgling physical theory that all living entities are information processors (computers). It makes no comment on metaphysics.

Biological Computation and Bioinformatics are well-established concepts. The former typically refers to the creation of biological entities for specific computing purposes (for example, DNA-based computing [ [http://www.unisci.com/stories/20021/0315023.htm DNA-Based Computer Solves Truly Huge Logic Problem ] ] ) and the latter to the use of mathematical algorithms and computers to analyse biological information.

The theory views biochemical processes such as signal transduction and neuronal synapses as information processes.
