Embreeville, Pennsylvania

Embreeville is an unincorporated community, little more than a rural stretch of road with a few businesses, homes and a post office, in West Bradford Township in middle Chester County, Pennsylvania, inside a bend of Brandywine Creek. It is about 30 miles west of Philadelphia, near to Unionville, Pennsylvania. The community is served by the 19320 zip code.

Embreeville's local landmarks including the Embreeville Dam, Embreeville State Hospital, Pennsylvania State Police Barracks, Unionville Elementary School, Stargazers' Stone, and Indian Hanna's grave.

The Stargazers' Stone marked an important astronomical observation point used by Charles Mason and Jeremiah Dixon in 1764 in surveying the Mason-Dixon line, which lies 15 miles south of the stone.
