The List of Big Ten National Championships includes championships won by teams from the Big Ten Conference and former member Chicago. The current Big Ten teams have compiled 233 NCAA championships (As of May 25, 2008). In the 2007-08 academic year, Big Ten members won five titles, women's volleyball (Penn State), fencing (Ohio State), wrestling (Iowa), men's volleyball (Penn State), and women's lacrosse (Northwestern).
Listed below are all championship teams of NCAA sponsored events, as well as the titles won in football, a non-NCAA sanctioned championship sport.

Prior to joining the Big Ten, Penn State won 9 titles in Men's Gymnastics. Former Big Ten member Chicago won the Men's Gymnastics national championship in 1938.

Prior to joining the Big Ten, Penn State won one title in Men's Wrestling.

In addition to the national championship titles won while in the Big Ten conference, some Big Ten schools participate in other sports not affiliated with the Big Ten. They include Fencing, Men's and Women's Ice Hockey, Men's and Women's Lacrosse, Rifle, Men's Volleyball, and Women's Water Polo.
