Nawab Sir Sayyid Wasif Ali Mirza Khan Bahadur, KCSI, KCVO (7 January 1875-October 1959) was a ruling Nawab of Murshidabad from 1906-1959. Educated at Rugby and at Trinity College, Oxford, he succeeded his father Nawab Sayyid Hassan Ali Mirza Khan Bahadur at his death in 1906. On 11 December 1931, he was forced to cede his estates to the Government of India after having incurred a 19 lakhs taka debt. Before the independence, the Radcliffe Award had ceded Murshidabad to Pakistan, but two days after independence, India in exchange for Khulna received Murshidabad from Pakistan. Sir Sayyid Wasif Ali Khan Bahadur died at the age of 84 in Calcutta in October 1959. He was succeeded by his eldest son, Nawab Sayyid Waris Ali Mirza Khan Bahadur.
