Boveri-Sutton chromosome theory

The Boveri-Sutton chromosome theory is that Mendelian alleles are located on chromosomes.

This theory was developed independently in 1902 by Theodor Boveri and Walter Sutton.It is sometimes called the chromosome theory of inheritance.
