Biography
A graduate of the
Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, Simon joined The Divine Comedy in 2002 and is still a regular member of the band. He has since toured and recorded withClare Teal ,Maggie Reilly ,A Girl Called Eddy andChris Difford . As a jazz bass player he plays regularly with Ian Shaw,Lea Delaria ,Symeon Cosburn , and Nina Ferro. Simon has also played withNick Cave andBen Folds .As well as being an accomplished electric and upright bass player, Simon also plays theChapman Stick , a 10-string touch guitar devised byEmmett Chapman in the 1970's.Discography
