After achieving success on the Dutch and Flemish charts (with the singles My Man and U.O.Me) and on the European hitlists (with the single
You're the Greatest Lover ),Philips Records /Phonogram decided to releaseLuv' s first full-length studio album: "With Luv' ".
The production of this opus was supervised byHans van Hemert , with the help fromPiet Souer . Van Hemert and Souer co-wrote all the album's tracks under the pseudonym Janschen & Janschens. The arrangements of this first opus were inspired by the music styles that were popular in the mainstream music market in the late 1970s: theABBA repertoire (especially with My Man andDream, Dream ), Carnival and Latin American music sounds (withU.O.Me (Theme from Waldolala) and Don Juanito De Carnaval, the cover version of A far l'amore comincia tu, the 1977 hit ofRaffaella Carrà ),Disco music (with Everybody's Shaking Hands On Broadway) andPop music (with compositions likeYou're the Greatest Lover ,Who Do You Wanna Be ...).Track listing

Singles
Chart performance
Luv' was more successful on the singles charts (at a time when it was significant for the music industry) than on the album charts because the trio's first public was mainly composed in the late 1970s by teenagers (known to be vinyl singles buyers). With Luv' reached the platinum status in the Netherlands and the gold status in Austria andDenmark .Album credits
