William Boleyn

William Boleyn

Sir William Boleyn (1451 – 10 October, 1505) paternal grandfather of Anne Boleyn second wife of King Henry VIII and the mother of Queen Elizabeth I. He was born in Blickling, Norfolk, England to Geoffrey Boleyn and Anne Hoo. William married Lady Margaret Butler, daughter of Thomas Butler, 7th Earl of Ormonde. They had ten children.
