Jayney Klimek (born August 18, 1962 in Melbourne), is an Australian singer and songwriter.

Family background

Jayney comes from a family steeped in music. Brother Alf Klimek was a founding member of The Other Ones / Spliff Radio Show. Her twin Johnny Klimek is a successful Hollywood composer. Cousins Nic Cester and Chris Cester form part of Jet [ [http://www.l-camillo.com/Camillo/Cam-9a.htm Cester family story] ] .

Music career

Jayney achieved chart success with The Other Ones [ [http://www.myspace.com/youprettythingmusic Jayney Klimek on Myspace] ] . "Holiday" spent 20 weeks in the European Top Ten.

Collaborations include work with Tony Banks, Tangerine Dream, Paul van Dyk, Alphaville.Jayney co-wrote and performed lead vocals on Digital Tenderness Terranova [ [http://www.hardscore.de/disko.php?id=9 Jayney Klimek Discographie] ] .

Her new band is You Pretty Thing with Andreas Schwarz-Ruszczynski [ [http://www.youprettythingmusic.com You Pretty Thing] ] .Their Single "Push It" has become the longest running No.1 played track on RadioEins.
