The Bacău metropolitan area includes the urban area of Bacău and will extend to Buhuşi. It includes the communes of Letea Veche, Buhoci, Luizi-Călugăra, Săuceşti, Hemeiuş, Gârleni, Racova, Mărgineni and Măgura.
