Alice R. Ballard

Alice R. Ballard, born 1945, Florence, South Carolina, is a working ceramicist based in Greenville, South Carolina. Much of her work is characterized by the organic forms that they embody. Education

She received her BS degree in design and MFA in painting from the University of Michigan. From 1974-2001 she has attended workshops Penland School of Crafts, Penland, North Carolina.
