Ayusokkanian

The Ayusokkanian is a Russian and Kazakhian faunal stage that occurred during the Early Cambrian period. It spans from 501 to 494.5 million years ago. The beginning of the Ayusokkanian stage is marked by the appearance of the agnostid trilobite "Glyptagnostus reticulatus". It is preceded by the Mayan stage and is followed by the Sakian stage, it significantly overlaps with the Australian Idamean stage.
