Markus Imhoof (born September 19, 1941) is a Swiss screenwriter and film director. He won a Silver Bear at the 31st Berlin International Film Festival for his film The Boat Is Full (1981),^[1] which was also nominated for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film. Ten years later, his film The Mountain was entered into the 41st Berlin International Film Festival.^[2]
