EP = Yorkshire and the HumberWentworth is a parliamentary constituency in South Yorkshire. Originally created in 1918, it was abolished in 1950 but the name was revived when the current constituency was created in 1983. It is considered a safe Labour seat and was held by the incumbent MP
John Healey at the 2005 general election.Boundaries
Wentworth constituency consists of the northern Borough of Rotherham and part of the Borough of Barnsley. It borders the constituencies of Barnsley East and Mexborough, Barnsley West and Penistone, Don Valley, Rotherham, Rother Valley and Sheffield Hillsborough.

Following their review of parliamentary representation in
