The Cancer Council South Australia is South Australia's leading non-government cancer control organisation, dedicated to ensuring that South Australians are reducing their cancer risk and receiving the best cancer care. The Cancer Council South Australia is a member of The Cancer Council Australia.
History
Since 1928 The Cancer Council South Australia has worked resolutely to defeat cancer, and create hope for the people it affects, by providing up-to-date information, practical and emotional support for cancer patients, their families, and carers.
They also invest in vital research to find new pathways to prevent, treat and cure cancer, and in prevention and early detection campaigns. In addition, we support health professionals with their cancer diagnosis and care by providing the latest evidence-based prevention and treatment information.
Events
Daffodil Day, Pink Ribbon Day, Relay for Life and Girls Night In are all fundraising events run by The Cancer Council South Australia.
Support
