USS Sarah M. Kemp (1861)

USS "Sarah M. Kemp" (1861) was a schooner purchased by the Union Navy during the American Civil War at Baltimore, Maryland, on 13 August 1861.

Assigned to the stone fleet

"Sarah M. Kemp" was to be sunk as part of the “stone fleet” in the channel leading into the North Carolina sounds; however, no record of her final disposition has been found.
