Three years later, in 2000, she received a
National Endowment for the Arts grant. In 2005, she received a grant from the Pew Fellowships in the Arts program. UNDERCOVER, her first book foryoung adult s, was named a 2007 best book of the year by Amazon.com, Kirkus, and School Library Journal.She lives in Philadelphia with her husband and son and is an avid
