Alberta Achievement Testing
- Alberta Achievement Testing
Alberta Achievement Tests are standardized tests that all students in Alberta, Canada write in Grades 3, 6, 9 and 12. The tests are often used to rank schools. [Cite web|url=http://www.education.gov.ab.ca/k_12/testing/|title=Alberta Achievement Testing|author=Government of Alberta|authorlink=Government of Alberta|accessdate=2008-01-22] Alberta is the only province in Canada that continues to issue Achievement tests. The test in Grade 12 is more commonly referred to as the Alberta Diploma Exam. The Alberta Diploma Exam prevents teacher inflation of marks, a phenomenon particularly common in Ontario.Fact|date=December 2007
