The Duluth City Council is part of the governing body of the city of Duluth, Minnesota.
Duluth has a Mayor-Council form of government, with the City Administration making policy proposals to a nine member City Council. Duluth's five representational districts are divided into 36 precincts. Each of the five council districts elects its own councilor. There are also four at large councilors, representing the entire city.
The City Council elects a President who presides at meetings. Sharla Gardner is the current President of the Council. Dan Hartman is the current Vice-President of the Council.
Councilors Anderson, Cuneo, and Fedora also serve as Duluth Economic Development Commissioners. Councilors Hartman and Fosle serve as Duluth Public Utilities Commissioners.
The Duluth City Council meets at 7pm on the first and third Monday's of each month. The councils Agenda Session is held the previous Thursday at 5:15pm.
