Bobby Duncum, Jr. (August 26, 1965 - January 24, 2000) was an American professional wrestler, who was best known for his work in World Championship Wrestling. He was married to Michelle Duncum and have a daughter call Cassidy.

Career

Duncum Jr. was the son of wrestler Bobby Duncum. A graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, he began his wrestling career on the Texan independent circuit in 1990. He formed a team called the Texas Mustangs with Johnny Hawk in the Global Wrestling Federation. They won the Tag Team Titles from Black Bart and Johnny Mantel and kept them for about two months before losing them to the Bad Breed (Ian and Axl Rotten).

In the mid 1990s, Duncum Jr. had a brief spell in Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW) and was successful in All Japan Pro Wrestling where he frequently teamed with Stan Hansen, who popularized the Texan cowboy persona which Duncum Jr. had adopted.

His biggest success came in WCW as a member of the West Texas Rednecks. This group was comprised of Curt Hennig, Barry Windham and his brother Kendall Windham. They were originally supposed to be a heels against rapper Master P's No Limit Soldiers but the southern wrestling fans of WCW cheered them and booed the rappers. They disbanded in October 1999. Duncum Jr. was recovering from an injury when he died of an accidental overdose of a prescription pain killer on January 24 2000.

Prior to his wrestling career he was a 5 year football letterman at the University of Texas at Austin from 1984-1989 and was known for his "no holds barred" style. After turning down an offer from the Houston Oilers as he was heading on to a career in wrestling his brother was drafted in to the Arena Football League in 1992. After playing together in college it presented one last opportunity for the brothers to play football together again. He played with the Dallas Texans 1992-1993 where he met his future wife Michelle who was a cheerleader for the team.
