= History =

* 1981: With the break-up of Upp Changi Rd due to the construction of Changi Airport, route was amended to use Loyang Way and Upp Changi Rd East in both directions.
* 1981: Route amemded to ply the whole stretch of Jln Bukit Merah instead of via Outram Rd, Tiong Bahru Rd, Henderson Rd in both directions.
* Late 1980s: Route was shortened to ternminate at New Bridge Rd Terminal instead of Buona Vista Terminal due to MRT rationalization.
* 1993: Converted to a partial air-conditioned service with replacement of MB OF1413 by MB O405.
* 1994: Amended to ply via Victoria St in the direction towards New Bridge Rd, when Victoria St was converted to a bidirectional road.
* 1998: Converted to a fully air-conditioned service.
