William C. Davis (historian)

William C. Davis (historian)

William C Davis is currently a professor of history at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. Davis has won the Jefferson Davis Award (awarded for works on Confederate history) three times. In addition, he has consulted for Arts & Entertainment Network/History Channel series "Civil War Journal" among other television productions. Davis has written more than 40 books.
