Othera is an Indian village in the Kerala state. It is located near Tiruvalla, in Pathanamthitta district.

The village is famous for its cultural heritage, which includes the Padayani festival at Pudukulangara Devi Temple.

Othera is divided into 2 areas, The Othera East and Othera West. 4 km from kallissery on the MC road, 4 km from Nellad on the TK road. Also can be reached from Kuttor on the MC road or Kumbanad from the TK road.

Its a peaceful place, fully residential and agricultural village.

Thiruvanapuram Temple

A temple believed to be the oldest in the country that was lost for centuries.The temple was recently revived. It is a famous temple with Vishnu as the main deity. Panamoottu Mannil is the most famous house there. They belong to a royal bloodline.
