Warwick Farm is a railway station in the south-western suburbs of Sydney on the Main South Line located at its intersection with the Hume Highway. A station opened here in 1889cite web|work=Nswrail.net| title=Main South Line|url=http://www.nswrail.net/lines/show.php?name=NSW:main_south| accessdate=26 April| accessyear=2007] as a private platform near the former level crossing on Liverpool Road (Hume Highway). It was re-built and moved to its present location in 1943 during WWII when nearby Warwick Farm racecourse was used as a military campcite web|work=ARTC| title=Southern Sydney Freight Line EIS|url=http://www.ssfl.artc.com.au/docs/Approved%20for%20printing/Chapter%2019%20-%20Part%20D.pdf| accessdate=27 April| accessyear=2007] . A branch line to the nearby racecourse joined the mainline immediately north of the station, and carried special racecourse trains on racedays. The formation of the line and the platform are still visible.
